The short version
BRP Insurance's team compares insurance policies against what a customer actually needs. I designed the entire flow and UI for the internal tool that does that comparison.
Where it started
A colleague on the team went to BRP and interviewed them directly. Every day after, we sat down together, went through what she had learned, and turned it into flows.
Research first, then flows, every day
Instead of designing off assumptions, the flows came directly from what the interviews surfaced, day by day, while the details were still fresh.

Interview the people who would use it
A colleague interviewed the BRP Insurance team directly, to understand how they compare policies against a customer's needs today.

Discuss it the same day
We went through her findings together daily instead of waiting for a final report.

Turn it into flows
I translated each day's findings into flows and UI, building the tool alongside the research instead of after it.
