The short version
Airamigos is a social app for airports. It helps people connect with each other while they are traveling, so they can build a network or create events right there in the terminal. I worked on this in 2011, as UI designer and prototyper, over about fifteen days.
Designing for a place, not just a screen
People are only in an airport for a short window, so the app had to work for a specific place and a specific, limited amount of time.
